Build Components not Apps

Managing and building multiple/large applications is hard. The time frames for building out our apps to be production-ready is getting shorter. Systems and frameworks are getting more complicated, and as they grow, it becomes harder to remember how everything works and how it is connected. New developers can find it extremely hard to understand the app and contribute to production-level code.

At ClimateClever we solved most of our back-end issue by embracing microservices but were still drowning in the complexity of managing such an extensive front-end and with no easy and transparent way to share code, our team was repeating itself.

It was time ditch building apps, fully embrace the component approach and not focus on anything else except components.

Alexander will take you through our transition to a unique approach that made it easier to understand our entire system. The benefits have given us faster release times, easier bug detection and allowing new developers to contribute to production-ready code from day one. As a team, we feel more empowered and less stressed.
