The Monolithic Grizzly bear is getting a bad wrap lately. It is big hard to manage and slow moving. At the other end of a continuum is the Microservice culture. 100 lines per service seems small. This army of ant like services introduces a new suite of issues. Is there an alternative? Is there a middle ground on this continuum that could be a happy place where cohesion and coupling find a balance?
